Surely that is what the great verse on prayer in Romans 8 is teaching us: "We do not know what to pray for as we ought,"(Romans 8:26). Whatever the answer to our prayers, the God to whom we pray is the source of the power of prayer, and He can and will answer us, according to His perfect will and timing.
